Essex Realty Promotes 2, Hires 1

Brian Kochendorfer (pictured) has been promoted from director to managing director for Essex Realty Group, while Hayley Rawers has been promoted to director from associate. Kochendorfer has arranged the sale of over $140 million in transactions and more than 1,300 units since joining Essex in 2014.

“Brian embodies the principles we value as a company,” said Doug Imber, president of Essex Realty. “He understands the market as well as anyone I know. He is committed to his clients’ success, and he is a respected leader at Essex. We’re proud of Brian, and fortunate to have him helping build Essex.”

As an associate, Rawers has concentrated mainly on asset valuation, market research and transaction analysis since joining Essex in 2015. The company has also brought in a new associate, Zen Kovtun, who will focus on analyzing and underwriting multifamily properties throughout Chicago’s South Side neighborhoods.
