Essex Realty Markets South Shore Rentals with “Easy Upside”

Essex Realty Group’s Brian Mond is marketing 6700 S. Constance Ave. with an asking price of $6,000,000.  The 78-unit multifamily property built in 1920 is located in Chicago’s historic landmark district of Jackson Park Highlands, and has been owned by the same family for more than 40 years.

This South Shore building is situated across the street from the proposed Tiger Woods golf course, just .02 miles from Lake Michigan, and close to both University of Chicago and the proposed Obama Presidential Center.

“This offers an option to purchase a uniquely-located building with easy upside in rents within an Opportunity Zone,” said Mond. “It’s an impeccable location for multifamily investors seeking a value-add opportunity in South Shore.  We are continuing to see rapid growth in rents and investor appetite,” he added.

The unit mix consists of 42 large studios that can be converted to junior one-bedrooms, and 36 large one-bedrooms.

Connect Chicago Fall 2019 will take place Oct. 29 in Chicago. For more information, or to register, click here.
