Ernst & Young Relocates to 57K SF at Seattle’s Madison Centre

Ernst & Young LLP (EY) signed a lease to relocate to Madison Centre in downtown Seattle. The deal is for 57,300 square feet across three floors in the 37-story tower at 920 5th Ave. The 750,000-square-foot tower was developed in 2017 and is owned by Schnitzer West.

The accounting and professional services firm had been housed at the nearby 47-story Wells Fargo Center for three decades.

EY’s Seattle employee count has risen 82% over the past five years to roughly 650 professionals. The 2016 acquisition of Bellevue’s Society Consulting accounts for part of that growth, and those employees will be consolidated into a new EY@Work hub at Madison Centre.

The companywide initiative provides energizing and efficient work environments. The new office space encompasses 244 total tech-enhanced workspaces, 33 collaboration rooms, 19 meeting rooms, four multipurpose centers, a training facility and 150 sit-to-stand workstations.
