Engineering Firm Expands Katy Space
Avison Young negotiated a lease extension and expansion of office space on behalf of LJA Engineering, Inc., to 38,357 square feet at 1904 W. Grand Parkway North in Katy. The employee-owned engineering company expanded from its existing 33,464-square-foot space.
LJA Engineering was represented by Houston-based Avison Young principal Anthony Squillante and VP Dustin Devine. Landlord 1904 Grand Parkway North, LP, a joint venture between Insite Realty Partners LP and The Urban Companies, was represented by Transwestern VP Parker Burkett and EVP Eric Anderson.
“In 2014, LJA opened its first office in Katy, a growing market in far west Houston, that would allow the firm to continue to attract and retain great talent,” said Squillante. “Six years later, LJA’s vision has proven to be spot on as this office has grown to be the company’s second-largest location.”
