Emma Capital Enters Indianapolis Market with 3 Multifamily Deals

Toronto-based Emma Capital Investments Inc. has entered the Indianapolis market with three apartment acquisitions having a combined value of $63.8 million. They’re the 336-unit Retreat Northwest (pictured), the 388-unit M Club Apartments, and the 125-unit Aura Apartments.

Emma’s acquisitions of Retreat Northwest and M Club have closed; the Aura Apartments deal is set to close later this month. To date, the investment firm has made 30 U.S. acquisitions totaling 7,500 units.

“All three of the properties present tremendous opportunities for Emma Capital to enhance value,” said the firm’s Brian Rakowski. “The fundamentals of each property are very strong, and large amounts of capital were invested by the previous owners into the skeleton of the properties. We are eager to implement our vision for the properties, and to provide first-class services to our residents.”
