ELDOR Corp. Plans $75M Plant in Virginia
ELDOR Corp., headquartered in Italy, will be establishing its first U.S. production plant in Botetourt County, Virginia. The company is involved with the research, development and production of ignition coils, engine control units, and combustion management systems.
ELDOR will soon begin construction on a 250,000-square-foot facility in Greenfield Industrial Park, off U.S. 220 in Daleville, VA. for $75 million. The facility, which will encompass approximately 53 acres, should be completed by August 2017.
Pasquale Forte, ELDOR’s president and CEO, indicated that a business-friendly climate, a welcoming attitude, “top-class universities and a great community college” all contributed to the company’s decision to build its production plant in Botetourt County.
