At a recent conference, real estate developer and owner MIMCO Inc. presented salient facts and figures about El Paso, TX. The numbers tell an interesting story about El Paso, the city that straddles three states and two nations.
- El Paso’s Fort Bliss is the nation’s fastest-growing military installation, boasting $5 billion-plus
- Downtown El Paso has benefited from more than $500 million in private and public investment over the past 10 years.
- 238 new residential units are under construction, and 768 hotel rooms are either under construction or completed.
- More than 122,000 square feet of office and retail space is under construction.
And just as important, El Paso has been ranked the #1 safest large city in the United States (population 500,000 and above).
