Edge Hires Former NKF Director Ogden in D.C.

Full-service commercial real estate firm Edge has hired Ryan Ogden, formerly Senior Managing Director with Newmark Knight Frank, as Partner to found the company’s new Multifamily Capital Markets Group.

The new division will be located within the Edge downtown Washington, D.C. office at 1828 L St. NW, and will also include Jared Emery, who is transitioning from his role as Director of Strategy at Edge to function as Partner. The Multifamily Capital Markets Group will provide brokerage and advisory services, with a focus on representing buyers of multifamily investment properties throughout the Mid-Atlantic region and ultimately nationwide. Ogden brings more than 25 years of directly-related experience to the new position, and has completed multifamily transactions valued at more than $4 billion.

“The collaborative and entrepreneurial environment that exists at Edge is perfectly suited for me to mold a new platform that emphasizes success, customer service and the ability to quickly pivot to respond to market conditions,” said Ogden. “Edge’s robust institutional grade infrastructure offers every resource needed to service our clients and possesses the structure needed to act quickly and effectively on behalf of our clients.”
