Eastdil Adds Capital Markets Veterans Silverman and McCoy

Eastdil Secured has hired capital markets veterans Will Silverman and Matt McCoy as managing directors. Silverman and McCoy will be based in New York and Charlotte, respectively.

“Will and Matt are extremely accomplished commercial real estate professionals, and we look forward to benefiting from their expertise,” said Eastdil president D. Michael Van Konyenburg.

Silverman (above) joins Eastdil from Hodges Ward Elliott, where he founded the advisory firm’s commercial division. Previously, he was with Savills Studley (now Savills) in New York, where he closed approximately $6 billion worth of transactions. He called it “a once in a lifetime opportunity” to join Eastdil as it becomes independent of Wells Fargo.

McCoy (at right) brings more than 22 years and $15 billion of experience in commercial real estate, capital markets, private equity and investment banking. Most recently, he served as president of the Stonemont Income Fund at Stonemont Financial Group, a diversified real estate investment manager.
