Duke Realty Inks 567K-SF Deal with Shippers Warehouse

Shippers Warehouse Inc. signed a long-term lease with Duke Realty Corp. for a 556,000-square-foot, build-to-suit distribution facility in Prime Pointe. Prime Pointe is a 3,000-acre industrial park at Interstate 45 and East Wintergreen Road, in South Dallas. The park surrounds the Union Pacific Dallas Intermodal Terminal.

The new building will be a rail-served distribution center, and serve as Shipper’s new corporate headquarters. A construction date is to be determined. Al Leon and Larry Leon with Logistics Realty represented Shippers in the transaction while Duke Realty was represented by Matt Hyman.

Shippers, one of the largest 3PLs in Texas (as well as provider of warehousing and logistics services nationwide), already has operations at Prime Pointe 1005, a 589,362-square-foot distribution center, also rail-served, and also leased from Duke Realty. The new building will be adjacent to Prime Pointe 1005, which delivered in April 2016.
