Downtown Jamaica Site Ground Lease Comes to Market

Cushman & Wakefield has been hired to arrange for the ground lease of 9402-9406 Sutphin Blvd., a development site in Downtown Jamaica. A team led by Stephen R. Preuss and Kevin Schmitz will be handling the marketing efforts on behalf of the property’s landlord, Rodrigues Realty Corp.

9402-9406 Sutphin is directly across the street from the JFK AirTrain & Jamaica Transit Hub.  The property is situated within the Special Downtown Jamaica District, and current zoning allows for more than 61,000 buildable square feet.

“The ‘Sutphin-Air Train’ corner presents a developer with the best hospitality or mixed-use opportunity in all of downtown Jamaica,” said Preuss. “On the corner of 94th Avenue & Sutphin Boulevard, the site offers the future tenant the unique position to take advantage of the rapid, continuous growth in the area.”
