Dothan AL: Least Expensive Office Space in the U.S.
Evolution Finance’s Wallet Hub study has placed Dothan, AL atop a list of 1,268 smaller cities nationwide that offers the least expensive office space in the United States. Dothan was tied for first place with Kentwood, MI.
The average cost for office space in Dothan is $8.76 per square foot. The study also ranked Dothan as the eighth best city in the U.S. to start a business.
Whatley Darty Real Estate’s Kenny Whatley said there is significant office space demand on heavily traveled streets or highways in the city. He added that much of the demand is for northwest Dothan, between U.S. highways 84 and 231, and on Ross Clark Circle and Westgate Parkway.
