DLC Management Secures 17K-SF Retail Lease with Harbor Freight in Maryland

National owner and operator of open-air shopping centers DLC Management Corp. has secured a 17,202-square-foot lease with discount tool retailer Harbor Freight Tools in Frederick, MD.

Harbor Freight will occupy a portion of a former K-Mart box at the Frederick County Square retail center. Harbor Freight Tools stocks over 7,000 items in categories including automotive, shop equipment, air and power tools, outdoor equipment, compressors, welding, and woodworking tools. International grocer Lidl also recently signed a 27,799-square-foot lease at the center.

The addition of Harbor Freight is the latest in DLC’s value enhancement strategy for the property, one of two Frederick open-air retail assets acquired in a joint venture with Acadia Strategic Opportunity Fund V LLC in August of 2019.
