DivcoWest Signs Semiconductor Firm to 265K-SF Golden Triangle Deal

Semiconductor equipment manufacturer ASML signed a 265,000-square-foot lease at DivcoWest’s 13.3-acre Tasman office and R&D campus in San Jose’s Golden Triangle submarket. The expansion by the Netherlands-based tech company encompasses three buildings at 10 W. Tasman Dr., 125 Rio Robles and 80 West Tasman Dr.

The 318,000-square-foot campus in North San Jose formerly housed Cisco Systems. It is directly adjacent to light rail service and across the street from Samsung’s recently built North America HQ. DivcoWest acquired the assets from Cisco last year for $50 million.

ASML plans to design its office environment from the ground up and anticipates taking occupancy by year-end 2020. The company, which does work for Apple and Samsung, plans to eventually have 900 employees at the site. ASML will consolidate several San Jose area offices, including one on Trimble Road and three on Automation Drive.
