Dirt Work Underway on 98-Acre Solms Landing in New Branufels, TX
South Texas Capital began construction on Solms Landing, a 98-acre, mixed-use development in New Branufels, TX. The local developer enlisted Creo Architecture to re-design the project, turning it into a denser live-work-play development.
In addition to apartments, townhomes, single-family, hotel, retail and green space, the development will also include approximately 875,000 square feet of Class A office space. This effectively more than doubled the project’s cost, from $200 million to $500 million. The project is east of Interstate 35, and across from Creekside Town Center on Creekside Crossing.
South Texas Capital is in discussion with different developers on each housing portion, though no agreements have been finalized. Avison Young is marketing both a portion of the office space, and the project’s 300,000-square-foot retail portion.
