Dick’s Sporting Goods Takes Over Dillard’s Space in Midland

Dick’s Sporting Goods is marking the grand opening of its newest location, at Simon Properties’ Midland Park Mall in Midland. The 10,000-square-foot store was built at a former Dillard’s location, and is the last of 11 openings this month by the Pittsburgh-based retailer.

Preview days at the Midland store were held on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. The store was announced this past October, according to published reports.

In addition to the Midland location, August has seen Dick’s Sporting Goods open in Hyannis and Brockton, MA and Deptford, NJ; a combined Dick’s and Golf Galaxy in Atlanta; Dick’s Sporting Goods Warehouse Sale clearance centers in Orland Park, IL, Englewood, CO, Fairfax, VA, Amherst, NY and Brockton, MA; and an Overtime by Dick’s Sporting Goods outlet center in Tempe, AZ.
