Developer BCTS Partners Sells MXU Copper Lakes

Houston-based developer BCTS Partners LLC sold the mixed-use Copper Lakes Shopping Center in the Cy-Fair submarket in west Houston to Parkway Brothers Investment Co. The two-building property at 17111 and 17121 West Rd. represented the only retail at a built-out intersection containing schools and churches.

The asset consists of 16,080 square feet of retail and 7,000 square feet of office on 2.7 acres. Austen Baldridge and Brad Elmore of NewQuest Properties represented the seller. According to Baldridge, the property attracted multiple offers, due to its location and the fact that it’s the only retail at the intersection.

The center is anchored by Fitness 19, with other tenants including Snowflake Donuts, Homebase Pizza, EZ Floors, ZL Dentistry & Orthodontics and Spots Cleaners. The office component is headquarters of EthiosIQ, along with housing a State Farm insurance agency.
