Design and Construction Veteran Joins Waterton Team

Waterton has named industry veteran Peg Blackall VP of design and construction to oversee the firm’s architectural, design and construction processes. She most recently was director of project management at Cushman & Wakefield in Chattanooga, TN where she was responsible for the project management of over 2.2 million square feet of main campuses.

A licensed architect with more than 20 years’ experience directing design, construction and due diligence for hospitality, retail and residential projects, Blackall has vetted, assembled and managed design and construction teams for projects totaling over $600 million. For Waterton, she’ll develop programing, budgets, schedules and manage complex construction projects.

“Our growing multifamily portfolio and recent acquisition of seniors housing company Pathway to Living, along with our objective of growing our hospitality portfolio, have presented renovation and development opportunities that will benefit from the expertise Peg has demonstrated throughout her long career,” said Waterton CEO David Schwartz.
