Dermody Nabs 19 acres in Rialto, Plans Logistics Facility
Reno, NV-based Dermody Properties acquired a 19-acre site in Rialto, CA with plans to develop a 411,330-square-foot distribution facility. Construction on LogistiCenter at Rialto I is expected to commence shortly, with an expected completion in December 2019.
The established Renaissance Rialto Business Park is near Interstate 210 and home to numerous corporate occupiers, including Amazon, Target, Under Armour, and Lifetime Brands.
Dermody Properties’ Pat Gallagher says, “This is an outstanding location for logistics-focused companies because of its proximity to major freeways, giving companies easy access to Southern California markets and the L.A. and Long Beach ports. This is a continuation of Dermody Properties’ strategy to actively acquire and develop in Southern California.”
The building features 36-foot clear heights, a 185-foot concrete truck court, 49 dock-high doors, 77 truck trailer spots and 245 auto parking stalls, making it ideal for e-commerce companies.
CBRE’s Darla Longo and Barbara Perrier represented all parties in the sale.
