DePaul Conference Will Spotlight Adaptive Reuse

Putting adaptive reuse aspirations into practical application will be the theme of the Real Estate Center at DePaul University’s annual Spring Conference, set for June 14. Featured panelists will include JPMorgan Chase’s Jack Bernard, Celadon Holdings’ Scott Henry, Holsten Chicago’s Peter Holsten and Sterling Bay’s Chang Lee.

“Ambitious plans require creative solutions at every level of the development,” said Charles Wurtzebach, chair of DePaul’s department of real estate. “These panelists bring great perspectives, and will offer their time-tested insights on how these market-changing developments can earn extremely favorable returns for investors, and the residual returns they create for local municipalities.”

Titled “Adaptive Reuse: Creating Strategies for Financing, Investment and Development,” the conference is slated for the Chicago Cultural Center, 77 E. Randolph.
