Deli Deal Yields Tasty Results
McAlister’s Deli, located at 5001 Cowhorn Creek Rd. in Texarkana, TX, sold for $2.1 million. Michael Paez with the Kase Group represented the buyer, a high net-worth East Coast investor. The seller of the 3,339-square-foot, free-standing property was from the West Coast.
Situated on 1.2 acres, McAlister’s Deli is across the street from the Christus St. Michael Health System, Texarkana’s second-largest employer. The property is also within walking distance of six hotel chains.
McAlister’s Deli has approximately 10 years remaining on an original 20-year lease, which expires in May 2027. The location is operated by the Saxton Group, which operates additional restaurants throughout Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas and Missouri.
