David Luther, Kelley Workman Join NewQuest, Form Investment Sales Division

Commercial real estate veterans David Luther and Kelley Workman departed Marcus & Millichap. The duo joined NewQuest Properties in Houston, where it will launch a dedicated investment sales division. The new hires — and division launch — follows NewQuest’s recent announcement concerning its new healthcare and wellness group.

Luther has been named executive vice president and head of investment sales; Workman is starting as vice president. Joining the team will be senior associate Morgan Hansen, who has worked with the top-ranked team in the past year.

Luther, formerly Marcus & Millichap’s senior vice president of investments, spent 20 years at the firm, managing offices throughout Texas and closing $750 million-plus of commercial sales in retail, medical, office and industrial assets. Workman, with 28 years of experience in real estate, had been with Marcus & Millichap since 2014. During her tenure, she closed more than $200 million in single- and multi-tenant retail, medical and office assets.
