Darwin Completes Elgin Sale and Leases

Darwin Realty recently completed a sale and two lease transactions in Elgin, IL, totaling over 218,000 square feet. Brokered by principal Noel S. Liston, the $5-million-plus sale saw a 90,000-square-foot property at 501 Davis Rd. change hands from Chicago Logistic Service to Navis Industries, which will relocate from a 25,000-square-foot property elsewhere in Elgin.

Liston and VP Brendan Sheahan represented High Street Realty Company in High Street’s lease of 1765 Holmes Rd. to a growing manufacturing company. The full-building lease was for 85,705 square feet.

Another recent Darwin lease transaction in Elgin was for 42,521 square feet of warehouse space within 1331-1333 Davis Rd. Liston represented Chicago Logistic Service in its lease for the space. Sheahan represented ownership, Zilber Property Group, in the lease to bring the 125,990-square-foot building at Miller-Davis Industrial Park to 100% occupancy.
