Darwin Arranges 3PL Firm’s Bensenville Lease

Darwin Realty facilitated a lease between Axis Warehouse Management and CenterPoint Properties for the third party logistics company’s new 174,178-square-foot space at CenterPoint’s 500 Country Club Dr. in Bensenville, IL. Darwin president Rick Daly led the transaction, with assistance from managing broker George Cibula.

“Axis liked that the building has sufficient truck loading, trailer parking and rail service, as well as easy access to O’Hare International Airport,” Cibula says. “This is one of just a handful of buildings still on the market in this size range and submarket.”

Built in 1974, 500 Country Club Dr. has 22’ clear height ceilings, 31 exterior docks and two drive-in doors. It’s among the few properties within the O’Hare submarket featuring direct rail access.

Axis Warehouse Management also occupies a 112,000-square-foot building in Elk Grove Village, and 300,000 square feet of food-grade warehouse space in Bartlett.

Connect Industrial is coming up on November 19th in Houston. You can get more details and register to attend on this link.
