FightNight 30 – the 30th annual philanthropic endeavor hosted by The Real Estate Council (TREC) – attracted an estimated 1,400 attendees from all levels of the North Texas commercial real estate community. Also in attendance were well-known sports figures, including famed boxer Marvelous Marvin Hagler and representatives from the Dallas Cowboys.
The gala, which took place April 26 at the Anatole Hilton in Dallas, was expected to raise approximately $1.4 million. Proceeds from the event, which included casino gaming, Vegas-style performances and, of course, professional boxing, will be used to support the Dallas Catalyst project. The project is a three-year initiative that will invest more than $1 million in grants and pro-bono efforts within Southern Dallas’ Forest Revitalization District.
