Cyber Defense Firm Triples Michigan Ave. Footprint

CBRE recently represented Darktrace in a 10,293-square-foot lease at 333 N. Michigan Ave. The brokerage’s Tony Coglianese and Mark Keebler  negotiated on behalf of the tenant.

The move marks a significant expansion for the AI cyber defense firm, which opened its Chicago office last year with just 2,858 square feet at 333 N. Michigan. The firm will now occupy a full floor at the property beginning in the second quarter of next year.

“Darktrace has seen impressive expansion in Chicago in a very short period of time,” said Coglianese. “This move will more than triple the firm’s current office space, accommodating its bold growth trajectory and Midwest expansion plans. Darktrace is one of many coastal technology companies looking to Chicago to diversify its business, grow its talent pool and maximize ROI.”
