CushWake to Lease Westport Complex

Cushman & Wakefield has been retained to lease National Hall on the Westport, CT waterfront after arranging the sale of the mixed-use property last month. Its former owner, Greenfield Partners, garnered $17.5 million in the sale. The new owner wasn’t disclosed.

National Hall comprises five buildings situated on a Saugatuck River boardwalk with a mix of offices, retail outlets and restaurants. Greenfield hired Cushman & Wakefield’s Stamford, CT office in 2018 to market the complex for sale. At that time, the complex was 91% occupied, according to published reports.

National Hall is anchored by the circa-1850 2 Post Road West, which was transformed in 1993 into the Inn at National Hall. Greenfield owned the property since 2010, and made its headquarters there, relocating from South Norwalk.
