CushWake Handles Sale of Detroit-Area Industrial

Cushman & Wakefield represented Livonia East Corporate Center and Country Fresh in two separate sales of industrial buildings in the Detroit suburb of Livonia, MI, totaling nearly 250,000 square feet. Deal terms weren’t disclosed.

Senior director Anthony Avendt represented Country Fresh in selling 31770 Enterprise Dr. to Caresoft Global LLC. The 148,000-square-foot former dairy, partially renovated in 2004 and zoned for light manufacturing, will be converted to meet the needs of the global technology and solutions company.

Additionally, Avendt and associate Evan Miller represented Livonia East Corporate Center in the disposition of 12622-645 Inkster Rd., a 101,089-square-foot building on nine acres zoned for general manufacturing. MobilityTRANS acquired the property to expand assembly and manufacturing operations. The property was extensively renovated in 2019 and 2020.

“The timing of these two sales is significant,” Avendt said. “Both buyers acted in spite of the current economic uncertainty to meet their long-term objectives.”
