CushWake Brokers Sale of 770-Unit Self-Storage Facility in Sanford

Cushman & Wakefield has arranged the sale of a 770-unit self-storage facility in Sanford. The sales price was not disclosed.

Located at 2728 W. 25th St., the 70,883-square-foot facility offers 770 climate-controlled units and 15 drive-up units ranging from 25 square feet to 540 square feet as well as 13 boat/RV parking spaces.

Mike Mele and Luke Elliott of Cushman & Wakefield’s Self-Storage Advisory Group represented the seller in the transaction, Preferred Realty & Development, a privately-owned development company. The buyer, Clark Properties/All Aboard Storage, acquired the property as part of their 1031 exchange option. Valley National Bank provided acquisition financing.
