Cushman & Wakefield Brings New Technology to Appraisals

Cushman & Wakefield plans to use new technology to appraise the value of New York City apartment buildings. Its partnership with technology firm Bowery Valuation will automate tasks, like collecting property data from government agencies.

The system is designed to free the appraiser to focus on assessing the idiosyncratic aspects of a property. “This partnership is another step in the transformation towards our people adding true, thoughtful value for clients by eliminating routine tasks,” said Adam Stanley, Global CIO and chief digital officer for Cushman & Wakefield.

“By freeing their professionals from a manual approach to producing appraisals, Cushman & Wakefield will be able to offer the highest levels of service in the industry and unique opportunities for clients,” said John Meadows, co-CEO of Bowery Valuation (pictured, left, with his partner Noah Isaacs, right).

Cushman & Wakefield connected with Bowery through its partnership with technology incubator, MetaProp NYC.
