Cuero School District’s Performing Arts Center Will Outperform

The Cuero Independent School District (ISD) in Cuero, TX will have a fully functioning Performing Arts Center, a project that was 30 years in the making. The 24,000-square-foot center, once operational, will be one of the most advanced performing arts center in Texas. The project cost $7.5 million, much of it funded through bonds and private donations.

The center at 960 E. Broadway in Cuero will give students interested in technical theater a chance to work with advanced sound and lightening systems. In addition, junior high and high school bands in the Cuero ISD will have a higher quality sound feedback, enabling them to be better prepared for competition.

The theater will also be available to the community, and could attract performing groups from cities including San Antonio, Austin and Corpus Christi.
