CoWorking Companies Head to North Dallas Area

Taking advantage of the corporate influx into North Texas, coworking companies WeWork and Common Desk are planting their flags in the far North Dallas area. New York-based WeWork signed a lease for 31,000 square feet at Legacy West Urban Village at the Dallas North Tollway and Legacy Drive in Plano, TX. Meanwhile, local company Common Desk is renting 27,532 square feet at the Granite Park development at the Dallas North Tollway and SH 121 in Frisco, TX.

Both offices will serve companies, contractors and freelancers in and around the Plano, Frisco, and North Dallas areas. They are taking up space close to where Toyota Liberty Mutual Insurance, J.P. Morgan Chase and other major employers will add more than 20,000 workers during the next few years.

WeWork recently leased more than 80,000 square feet in Thanksgiving Tower in downtown Dallas. Common Desk has a presence in the Dallas neighborhoods of Deep Ellum and Oak Cliff.
