Coveted Marin County Land Deal Sets Up 50-Unit MF Development
Two prized residential land parcels in Novato, CA comprising roughly 3.7 acres have been sold for $9 million. The site is envisioned for Atherton Place, a 50-unit townhome condominium development.
Located at 7533 and 7537 Redwood Blvd., within in the supply-constrained Marin County submarket, the site has received all Vesting Tentative Map approvals. The development is planned for 12 buildings, each at two and three stories in height. The site is near the central Novato downtown district, and the new Sonoma-Marin Area Rail (SMART) station.
Colliers International’s Bruce Bauer and Rich Martini represented both the buyer, an unnamed national public homebuilder, and the undisclosed local private seller.
Martini says, “A residential development site of the size and scope of Atherton Place with Vesting Tentative Map approval is extremely rare to find in one of the hottest and most affordable Marin County submarkets.”
