Cotton Exporter Moving HQ to Weslaco
Ci Logistics Group, an import-export logistic service company focused on the cotton industry, will be expanding operations in Weslaco, TX in the Rio Grande Valley. The company plans to move its operations from Mission, TX to Weslaco, where it will build a 210,000-square-foot facility.
The company, which has business interests in North America and Mexico, has control of two properties in Weslaco. “Weslaco has been a central location in the Valley that has proven to be a great location for logistics purposes, Ci Logistics owner and CEO Joaquin Spamer told the Rio Grande Guardian.
Spamer noted that the move will put Ci Logistics closer to the Rio Grande Valley’s cotton-growing areas, as well as closer to the Pharr and Progreso international bridges, which will help with import-export operations.
