Costa Mesa Lands Fishing Lure Manufacturer
Lucky Craft Lure Co. signed a 25,309-square-foot lease renewal at 380 Clinton St. in Costa Mesa, CA. The fishing lure and product manufacturer occupies the entire property as its U.S. corporate headquarters and distribution hub.
The industrial building sits in a cul-de-sac behind John Wayne Airport, in one of the most sought-after industrial submarkets in Orange County.
CBRE’s Ross Bourne represented the tenant in the $2.92 million, 10-year renewal. The landlord, Knowlton Communities, was self represented.
“The tenant was able to lock in a renewal rate at today’s rents, even though the lease is up first quarter of 2018,” said Bourne. “They jumped on the opportunity to renew now, given space in this market is sparse and demand is through the roof.”
