Cordish Shares Plans for $200M Maryland Hotel

The Cordish Cos. has released plans for its $200 million LIVE! Hotel, an addition to its Live! Casino property in Hanover, MD. The flagship hotel will be adjacent to Maryland Live! Casino at Arundel Mills, adding an additional 350,000 square feet of space to the state’s largest gaming facility.

The 17-story tower, the tallest building in Anne Arundel County, will have 310 rooms, an event center, meeting spaces, on-site restaurants and a spa. Also included is an event center with 1,500 seats.

Groundbreaking on the hotel tower is scheduled for fall 2016, with completion scheduled for fourth quarter of 2017. The project is anticipated to create 400 new jobs and 550 construction jobs for the region.
