Cordish Cos. Buys 250-Key Asset, Upgrades Planned
The Cordish Cos. acquired the combined Homewood Suites and Hilton Garden Inn properties in Hanover, MD, which totals 250 rooms. The sales price was not disclosed, however, public records show the asset valued at $27.1 million.
The new Baltimore-based owners will rebrand the property at 7191 New Ridge Rd. as Live Lofts, which will be part of the $1.3-billion Maryland Life! Casino in Hanover. Shulman Rogers brokered the transaction between Cordish and hotel developer and manager Buccini/Pollin Group from the Washington, DC area.
