Construction Underway on First Airport Freestanding ER

Groundbreaking took place on a Code 3 Emergency Room & Urgent Care facility, consisting of 8,160 square feet of space at Dallas-Fort Worth’s Southgate Plaza Development. The center, being developed by Frisco, TX-based Code 3 Emergency Partners LLC, is the first 24/7/365, free-standing emergency room and urgent care facility on airport property.

The facility will be equipped with a CT scanner, ultrasound, x-ray, laboratory and pharmacy. Board-certified emergency physicians will staff it. “We knew that, with over 60,000 airport-based and airline employees on site every day, and over 60 million passengers traveling through the airport every year, there was a definite need for this service,” said Carrie de Moor, Code 3 Founder and CEO.

Code 3 owns and operates emergency rooms and urgent care centers throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
