Construction Underway On $51M St. Louis Multifamily

Construction has been launched on Encore at Forest Park, a 247-unit multifamily project in St. Louis, MO. The $51 million multifamily property is the final phase of the mixed-use Highlands at Forest Park development, which was once the site of the St. Louis Arena. Completion is scheduled for summer of next year.

The development at 5700 Highlands Plaza Dr. is the second joint venture between the AFL-CIO Building Investment Trust and Balke Brown Transwestern. Balke Brown Transwestern also created the 26-acre Highlands at Forest Park development, which includes apartments, a hotel, and mixed retail/office buildings. Encore at Forest Park will be adjacent to the Cortona at Forest Park, an apartment property completed in late 2013.
