Construction to Commence on Rail-Served SW International Gateway Park

Stonemont Financial Group and Ridgeline Property Group, both based in Atlanta, announced an upcoming groundbreaking for SW International Gateway Park, a 540-acre, rail-served industrial park at U.S. 59/Interstate 69 and Country Road 421 in El Campo, TX. The partners will commence construction in June 2018. At capacity, the $125 million park will accommodate up to 10 million square feet of Class A warehouse, manufacturing and rail-served distribution facilities. Kansas City Southern Railway is supplying rail service.

Other features of the master-planned, multi-modal distribution park will include a staging area for more than 200 rail cars, Foreign Trade Zone and other state and local economic incentives, on-site centralized transload station for goods crossing the U.S./Mexican border, and full entitled, shovel-ready, rail-served sites available for lease, build-to-suit and design-build projects.

John Simons, Holden Rushing and Chris Haro of NAI Partners and Steve Pastor of NAI Hanson are marketing the project.
