Construction Set to Commence on New MA HQ for Workers Credit Union
Demolition is nearly complete and construction will soon be underway on a new 60,000-square-foot headquarters for Workers Credit Union (WCU) in Littleton, MA. Nauset Construction is renovating a 44,000 square-foot structure at 119 Russell St., as well as constructing a 16,000 square-foot addition to create a Class A office environment that fosters employee wellness and productivity.
The credit union is experiencing rapid growth and the new HQ will allow it to accommodate future needs, and also free up space for operational departments to expand at its current HQ in Fitchburg. The credit union serves more than 100,000 members at 15 locations throughout Central Massachusetts.
The contemporary interior will feature glass guardrails, glass accent signage walls, branded graphic walls and columns, terrazzo staircases, wood ceilings and expansive folding walls, with a two-story lobby and a grand staircase. Amenities include conference rooms, training rooms, a café, an outdoor dining patio and a fitness center.
