Construction Launches on DeSoto TRC

Madison Marquette began construction on DeSoto TRC, a 100-bed transitional skilled nursing facility in the North Texas city of DeSoto. The development is slated for a Q4 2019 completion, and will be operated by HMG Healthcare.

The facility will be situated on 4.3 acres at Barrows Place and North Hampton Road. Services provided will include nursing care, bed and board, physical, occupational and speech therapy and social services.

The delivery model is a cross between a traditional skilled nursing care facility and an inpatient rehabilitation facility. The average stay is less than 30 days, with a small percentage staying longer, depending on the level of need. DeSoto TRC will provide medical and rehabilitation services involving neurology, orthopedic, cardiopulmonary and wound care.
