Construction Launches on Boutique Condos in West Loop

Construction has begun on Eveq, a boutique condominium project at 14 N. Bishop St. in the West Loop. The project, with a team led by a venture of the Chicago Pipefitters Union Local 597, is slated to deliver in the third quarter of 2020.

Designed by Sullivan Goulette & Wilson Architects, the 32-unit Eveq offers three- and four-bedroom plans priced from $810,000. It’s located near employers in the West Loop and the Illinois Medical District.

“We are pleased with the early interest and already have a variety of units – including two penthouses – under contract, demonstrating the strong demand for new-construction condominiums in the West Loop,” said Cyndy Salgado, EVP of development sales at @properties, the exclusive sales brokerage for Eveq.

Salgado added that another key selling point has been “the expedited construction schedule; with construction starting so soon after sales, buyers don’t have to wait years to move in.”
