Construction Begins on 80-Acre Industrial Park
Work has begun on Rovang Industrial Park, an 80-acre park in Brandon, SD. The park is east of Sioux Falls, SD, at the Interstate 90-SH 11 interchange, with plans for rail access. It is also adjacent to the 200-acre Brandon-Corson Development Park. The first phases of the new park will begin in 2017.
The park is Brandon’s sixth industrial development park. “Brandon represents 10% of the acres in South Dakota’s Certified Ready Sites,” said Scott Stern with the Governor’s Office of Economic Development. “This community is committed to providing the land to grow our economy.”
“Brandon has long understood that opportunities for growth often depend on available land,” said Nick Fosheim with the Minnehaha County Economic Development Association. “The development parks adjacent to the new Rovang property have filled rapidly, and there is demand for sites in the Brandon area.”
