Construction Begins on 235K-SF Office Building in Boston’s South End

CIM Group and project partner Nordblom Co. have commenced construction on a new 235,000-square-foot office building in Boston’s South End. Located at 321 Harrison Ave., the eight-story, mid-rise building is being built above an existing three-story parking structure, which serves the neighboring 11-story, 242,000-square-foot office building at 1000 Washington St., also owned by the partnership.

Features of the building will include 29,000-square-foot floor plates, floor-to-ceiling windows, outdoor balconies and energy-efficient mechanical systems. The two office buildings will also share a new fitness center, café, bike storage and front desk services from a newly-constructed two-story shared lobby.

Construction on 321 Harrison is anticipated to be complete by the end of 2020.
