Construction Begins on 134K-SF World Houston 44

EastGroup Properties broke ground on World Houston 44, a 134,415-square-foot, speculative distribution facility at 4120 Consulate Plaza Dr. in north Houston. The building is going north in the developer’s master-planned World Houston International Business Center, situated near George Bush Intercontinental Airport.

The project is expected to open in March 2020, and features cross-dock loading, 32-foot clear heights, 39 dock doors, four oversized drive-in ramps, 185- to 200-foot truck courts, 30 trailer parking spaces and 225 parking spaces. The building is divisible to 25,000 square feet, and tenants will have the ability to fence up to 2.4 acres for outside storage. InSite Realty’s Logan Greer, Dayne Wunderlich, and Ryley Caton will lease the property.

The World Houston International Business Center consists of 40 buildings, totaling 3.4 million square feet.
