Congrats, Odessa; You’re Texas’ Most Expensive Destination

A study compiling average hotel lodging costs across the Lone Star State put Odessa, TX on top of the list. The research, collected and compiled by cheaphotels.org, indicated that those staying in Odessa hotels this spring will pay, on average, $186 a night.

When it came to Texas’ major metros, Austin came in third place at $174 per night, Dallas clocked in fourth place ($158), while Fort Worth wasn’t far behind at $153. San Antonio and Houston finished out of the top 10, at $112 and $107, respectively.
