Confidant, New Restaurant for West Village
Confidant, a new burger bar with sidewalk café, has signed a lease at 89 Greenwich Ave. in Manhattan’s West Village neighborhood. Restauranteur Christopher Wong has already succeeded four times in the restaurant business, with L.E.S. Kitchen, Burger Inc. in the Gansevoort Market, Breakroom and Kam Hing Bakery.
“This fifth location is a perfect fit for this dynamic and trendy area,” said Faith Consolo, co-leader with Arthur Maglio of The Worldwide Leasing Team at Douglas Elliman, which represented the owner of the building. Sinvin Real Estate represented the seller.
The burgers at Confidant are hand-formed with Pat LaFrieda beef, buns from Parisi Bakery and pickles straight from the Pickle Guys. The space includes 1,500 square feet on the ground floor, and 950 square feet below.
Hear more of Consolo’s perspective on New York City and the capital markets at Connect New York, which will be held Sept. 19, 2017, at The Underground, Rockefeller Center.
