Company Veteran Assumes Presidency at Urban Innovations

Jo Anne Gottfried has been promoted to president of Urban Innovations from COO. Gottfried will lead UI’s strategic plan and implement growth strategies for its core functions, including property management, leasing and construction.

In three decades-plus at UI, Gottfried has worked in nearly every department. Her various roles have encompassed accounting, human resources, IT, property management, leasing, strategic marketing and managing a team of engineers.

“Jo Anne joined UI in 1987, and during her 31+ years with us, she has played a pivotal part in growing our company and developing the talented team we have today,” said UI chairman Howard R. Conant Jr. “She has helped shape our commitment to service and she understands where we came from, how we got here and how we operate. It’s only natural that she move into the role of president to drive the company into the next phase of success.”
