Common Opens Flagship Property on West Side

Coliving brand Common has opened its new flagship Chicago property Common Addams, in partnership with locally based City Pads. Located at 1401-1431 W 15th St. in the West Side’s Little Italy neighborhood, near the Illinois Medical District, Common Addams is the company’s largest multifamily property under management in Chicago and its fourth with City Pads.

“Now more than ever, Chicago residents need affordability and reliability in the places they call home,” said Common CEO Brad Hargreaves. “As the world changes, Common is committed to continuing to meet the needs of renters, and the beautiful apartments and thoughtful amenities in Common Addams do just that.”

Common Addams tops out at four stories, with 59 suites and more than 4,000 square feet of amenity spaces and on-site parking garage. In all, Common operates six Chicago properties, including three others in partnership with City Pads: Common Simonds, Common Maplewood and Common Racine.
